Inter is the world’s 46th most valuable football club brand, according to a report by Brand Finance. The survey carried out by the consultancy firm evaluates the club brand at US$ 55 million (around R$ 114.4 million).
According to brand Finance, Inter brand is now worth US$ 4 million more when compared to last year’s ranking. There are other four Brazilian clubs in the ranking: Corinthians, Flamengo, Santos and São Paulo. These five Brazilian clubs are the only clubs outside Europe to be among the 50th most valuable brands.
In an official statement, Brand finance explains the good results presented by the Brazilian teams in their ranking. “The brands of Brazilian clubs had major progress because of economic growth and the growing passion of their fans,” the company stated.
